I had no idea what dress what suit me but they helped me choose my dream dress and all the guests on the day mentioned how beautiful the dress was and how it suited me.
It really helps to have first class service when making such an important decision and the attention to detail like even sending a little card on the day of the wedding is such a lovely little touch.
Also being close with my mum, it was so nice to see that it really is a family run business between Lisa and her mum and they are so passionate about what they do.

It's a fact with today's competition, choice and people pleasing, finding your perfect dress can leave you feeling daunted. The usual list from brides starting out on their journey consisting of poor body image, or trying to work out the best style for their body shape and their personality and also not wanting to be rushed into making this enormous decision. I added a few more to that list myself! So after a couple of unsuccessful dress fittings elsewhere and endless late night internet searching i had been left quite deflated and feeling short of where i felt this experience should be. Then i found Lisa, Bride by Design in Warminster. Out of my district but i didn't care, she brimmed with knowledge and experience that made me feel that i was in good hands. A stylish, bright and airy boutique with a huge dressing room! A fantastic array of designer dresses and beautifully presented. Lisa was was the one to help give me the best possible experience through every stage of my bridal dress journey. Quietly worried about my post op body, Lisa instinctively remained respectful of my personal space. I wasn't fitted into a category or talked out of my ideas, i was individually tailored. I needed Lisa's opinions and i needed her to be constructive after all i had no entourage . She helped me with my vision and as i liked different elements from different dresses we created bespoke looks encapsulating my favourite features. Her tenacity in helping me create the unforgettable memories that i will treasure for a lifetime was overwhelming. My Stephanie Allin dress named Liberty, was a classy, romantic, A-line, with a sweetheart neckline and delicate straps. Beautifully elegant yet comfortable and cool on the skin. A stunning dress in its own right but as my confidence grew and my smile broadened with each fitting we created further bespoke looks with other shrugs that took me from the Alter to honeymoon. The delicate flowery cap sleeve shrug by Nicola Ann was a soft and pretty addition to this versatile dress for the church service. A balloon sleeve shrug with flower appliques by Stephanie Allin called Brooke gave my dress a whole new look of bohemian romance and some evening cover on my arms for our outdoor event. I had wowed myself, my guests and best of all my husband. It was a girly and indulgent delight. Lisa you have provided incredible service and support throughout and i will genuinely miss my visits. I came to you as a customer and left as a friend. You have a gift that makes us brides smile, a real fairy god mother.

Lisa and Clare made finding My dream wedding gown a memorable one. They were so welcoming and friendly from the offset. They took time to talk to me in detail about what style of gown I wanted for my wedding. They offered thoughts about different dresses and were open to choosing a couple of dresses that perhaps I wouldn’t have picked myself. They even took a few dresses off the mannequin for me to try on!
I had opportunity to try on around 8 beautiful gowns, and I knew straight away when I tried on “The One”. I felt like Lisa and Clare shared my excitement and it was so lovely to share that experience!
I had visited other bridal stores since, and I knew I couldn’t find a gown like the one I tried on at Bride by Design. When I went back to order my dress, Lisa and Clare were so kind and so efficient in taking my measurements and ensuring that I still felt happy with the gown.
I am absolutely over the moon with my gown and I cannot wait for my wedding day. Lisa’s communication has been impeccable. She has responded to all of my Emails on the same day, and has answered all of my questions throughout the whole process.

After visiting a few other bridal shops I visited Lisa at Bride by Design. I was anxious because of the current pandemic however I instantly relaxed when I entered the shop. It was wonderfully clean and there were very clear processes and policies in place to keep everyone safe. I was able to take my mum with me which was very important to me and they were kind enough to allow me to return numerous times with a different person accompanying me each time to keep bridesmaids involved but also because I'm not great at making decisions. There were endless options and I am super fussy. There really is something for everyone. There was even an option to mix lace from one dress onto a shape of another at one stage to create the ultimate desired look. I was blown away by the customer service that I had received. It was such a pleasure dealing with Lisa and her mum and I cannot wait until my dress arrives. I felt absolutely no time pressures during any of my appointments with them unlike other shops that I visited.

This shop is amazing! A beautiful shop run by Lisa and Clare, nothing is ever too much trouble. I bought my dress in the Summer and was delighted that I could have a few elements of the dress customised just how I wanted. I also bought my 5 bridesmaids dresses from here and guess what they all loved them (I didn’t think it was going to be that easy!).
We are not getting married until August 2019 and had already been to shops in Manchester, London and Bournemouth (not a patch on the service at Bride By Design) so I urge anyone looking for a dress in the coming months to make sure this shop goes at the top of their list.

Lisa's shop is just beautiful and she is so lovely; I felt like a princess at each visit. I couldn't decide between two dresses and Lisa helped show me how I could alter each of them to make a bespoke dress that had the aspects that I loved most from both dresses, and helpfully suggested I could choose the lace I liked best when I still struggled to decide. The adjustments were made in factory so I didn't have to pay extra for alterations afterwards, and the most stunning dress, that is so quintessentially "me" was made. I was a little nervous about dress shopping as a 'curvier' bride to be but they had a fabulous range for all tastes, shapes and sizes and never made me feel self-conscious. What can I say about Bride by Design, Lisa was amazing!! From the moment we walked through the door we were made to feel very special!
